First Flight! Keith Kelly's Long EZ!

Actually it is more of a BerkEZ since Keith's plane has a little Berkut blood running around in it. As a warmup for the ST50 flight mentioned above, Norm Howell did the first flight on November 23 and it went very well. Just a little roll from a bit of wing mis-incidence and a slightly weak pitch trim system, but the engine ran superbly and the radios worked great. Keith has a videotape which comprises the entire building process down to a single 1-hour show and it includes the first flight. Keith's airplane is the 6th aircraft to be finished within EAA Chapter 1000 since it started...awesome! Look for pictures and videos at the meeting.
